Account Tab

Use this tab to specify, view, or modify user information such as first and last name name, alternate language, and account status.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Account ID

Specifies the account name of the user.

First Name

• Specifies the first name of the person who owns the account. You can use the %UF% rule string to generate the first name from the global user's first name.
• Rule String: %UF% (account template only)
• Size/Type: 64 characters
• Restrictions: " / \ [ ] : ; | = , + * ? < > @ (account template only)

  Note: This field is case insensitive.

Last name

• Specifies the last name of the person who owns the account. You can use the %UL% rule string to generate the last name from the global user's last name.
• Rule String: %UL% (account template only)
• Size/Type: 64 characters
• Restrictions: " / \ [ ] : ; | = , + * ? < > @ (account template only)
• This is a required field
• Note: This field is case insensitive.

Initials

• Specifies the initials of the person who owns the account. You can use the %UMI% rule string to generate the initials from the global user's initials.
• Rule String: %UMN% (account template only)
• Size/Type: 16 characters (including a period)
• Restrictions: " / \ [ ] : ; | = , + * ? < > @ (account template only)
• Note: This field is case insensitive.

Generational Qualifier

• Specifies a qualifier for the person who owns the account. To generate this value, select one of the following from the list box: I, II, III, Jr., or Sr.

User Unique OU

Specifies a user unique OU (UOU) that is used to distinguish between users with the same name who are working in the same branch of the Lotus Notes/Domino domain.

• For example, you can add a UOU called GOLFER to a person's name. The person's login name would be persons_name/GOLFER/certifier_name.

Alternate Language

Specifies the alternate landguage of the Lotus Notes/Domino account during the account creation.

Alternate Name

Specifies the alternate name of the Lotus Notes/Domino account during the account creation.

Alternate Org Unit

• Specifies the alternate qualifying organizational unit of the Lotus Notes/Domino account during the account creation.

Password

• Specifies the password of the person who owns the account.
• Rule String: %P%
• Size/Type: 64 characters

Confirm Password

Specifies the encrypted password of the person who owns the account.

Internet Password

• Specifies the password that allows authenticated Internet access to a Lotus Notes/Domino server that uses an Internet protocol for communication.
• Rule String: %P%
• Size/Type: 64 characters

Confirm Internet Password

• Specifies the password that allows authenticated Internet access to a Lotus Notes/Domino server that uses an Internet protocol for communication.
• Size/Type: 64 characters
• *For Accounts Only

Minimum Password Strength

• Specifies the Lotus Domino password strength value to the account ID password, with a password matching such quality. The range of strength values to choose from are 0-16, corresponding to Lotus Notes Domino.
• Size/Type: Numbers 0 to 16

Internet Only User

When checked, only changes to the Internet Password are allowed. The ID password cannot be changed.

Suspended

Specifies that the account has been added to a Deny Access group on the Domino server.

• Note: This functionality is currently limited in the number of accounts that can be concurrently suspended. For Domino 5.x the size limit is 15K. For Domino 6.x, the limit is 64k.

Suspended

When checked, specifies that the account is suspended.

Exception Account

• When checked, specifies that the account is outside the control of provisioning roles. The provisioning function “Check User Synchronization” will not report this account as extra, and therefore will not signal that this account should be deleted to bring the user in compliance with its provisioning roles.

Sametime Server

• Specifies the Sametime server used by this account. This field can be udpated both during the initial account creation and during subsequent modifications.

Size/Type: 256 characters

Create Replicas

Check this box to create replicas in a clustered Domino environment. This field can be updated during the initial account create and during subsequent modifications.

Note: The default is checked.
