Use this tab to specify user details, password settings, and account status.
The fields in this tab are listed below:
Specifies a user account on a Windows NT system. A user account is also known as an account.
Size/Type: 20 alphanumeric characters
Restrictions: " / \ [ ] : ; | = , + * ? < >
A global group name cannot consist solely of periods (.) and spaces.
This is a required field.
Specifies the user's full name.
Specifies information about the account or the user.
Specifies the password for the user. This field is case-sensitive.
Size/Type: 64 alphanumeric characters.
Verifies the password that you entered in the Password text box. This field is case-sensitive.
Prevents the password from expiring. This option overrides the User Must Change Password at Next Logon check box.
Prevents the user from changing the password. You usually apply this option to accounts that are used by more than one person, such as Guest accounts.
Forces the user to change the password at the next logon.
Disables the account. Generally, you disable accounts when a person leaves on vacation, sick leave, or when a person leaves the company (before the account is deleted). You can temporarily disable an account if it does not need to be used until a later date.
Check this check box to create an inactive template account that you can use to create new Windows NT accounts. The built-in Administrator account cannot be disabled.
When checked, specifies that the account is an exception account.
