Endpoint Properties Tab

Use this tab to identify and connect to a Siebel endpoint.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Endpoint Name

• Specifies the name used within the Provisioning Manager to refer to this Siebel server.
• This is a required field.

Description

Specifies the description of the endpoint.

Siebel Enterprise Server Host

• Specifies the name of the host machine where Siebel Server is installed.
• This is a required field.

Siebel Enterprise Server Port

• For Siebel 7.7 - Specifies the port number of the SCBroker on a Siebel server.
• Default: 2321
• For Siebel 7.5 – Specifies the port number of Siebel Gateway server
• Default: 2320
• Values: 1 to 65535
• This is a required field.

Siebel Enterprise Server Name

• For Siebel 7.7 or higher - Specifies the name of the Siebel Enterprise Server.
• For Siebel 7.5 - Specifies the name of the Siebel Gateway server.
• This is a required field.

Siebel Server name (Siebel 7.5 only)

Specifies the Siebel 7.5 server name.

Note: This field must be blank if using Siebel 7.7 or higher or Siebel 7.5 with Resonate.

Siebel Transport Protocol

• Specifies the transport protocol of a Siebel server. The values for this fields are listed below:
  • tcpip (default)
  • http

Siebel Encryption

• Specifies the encryption method. The fields for this field are listed below:
  • mscrypto
  • rsa
  • none (default)

Siebel Compression

• Specifies the compression method. The values for this field are listed below:
  • zlib
  • none (default)

Siebel Application Object Manager

• Specifies the Siebel Application Object Manager. The values for this field are listed below:
  • ISSObjMgr_enu
  • SCCObjMgr_enu (default) Siebel Call Center
  • SSEObjMgr_enu
  • SSVObjMgr_enu

Siebel Encryption

• Specifies the encryption method. The fields for this field are listed below:
  • mscrypto
  • rsa
  • none (default)

Siebel Language

• Specifies the language of the Siebel server.

Siebel Username for Authentication

• Specifies the number of a proxy user. A proxy user must have administrator’s access on a Siebel server.
• Default: SADMIN

Password for Authentication

Specifies the user’s password.

View Mode

• Identifies the required level of access to Siebel records. The values for this field are listed below:
  • SalesRep
  • Manager
  • Personal
  • All
  • Organization
  • Group
  • Catalog
  • SubOrganization

Enable Create User Position Feature

If checked, enables and disables create position property page for accounts and account templates.

Enable User Suspension Simulation

If checked, enables and disables user suspension simulation.
