Account Tab

Use this tab to view and modify login, password, and account status information.

The fields in this tab are listed below:

Account ID

• Specifies the account name used to login.
• Rule String: %AC%
• Size/Type: 48 characters
• This is a required field for new accounts only.

Description

Specifies the description of the login.

Default Shell

• Specifies the shell the default user uses for UNIX accounts.
• Size/Type: 256 characters

Password

Specifies the password the user logs on with.

Confirm Password

Confirms the password.

Exception Account

When checked, specifies that the account is outside the control of provisioning roles. The provisioning function “Check User Synchronization” will not report this account as extra, and therefore will not signal that this account should be deleted to bring the user in compliance with its provisioning roles.
