Use this tab to specify information about the user, such as the userid, UID, and home directory.
The fields in this property sheet are listed below:
Select to assign the next available UID number to the userid.
Select to assign a UID number to the userid.
Select to assign the same UID number for an account that a user has on another UNIX endpoint. By using the same UID number for accounts, you ensure that the same privileges are consistent on all endpoints.
Specifies the minimum UID number to begin the search.
Specifies the maximum UID number to begin the search.
Specifies the UID number to assign to the userid.
Specifies the same UID number for an account that a user has on another UNIX endpoint. By using the same UID number for accounts, you ensure that the same privileges are consistent on all endpoints.
Specifies the primary group to which the user belongs. The file and directories that the user creates will belong to this group. Click the Browse button to search and add a primary group.
Specifies the user’s UNIX login shell that is used. For example, enter one of the following as your shell type:
Shell Type Enter
C shell /bin/csh
Bourne shell /bin/sh
Korn shell /bin/ksh
Use this check box to specify whether or not to create the Home Directory entered in the Home Directory field on the UNIX server.
Specifies the default login directory of the user.
Rule String: /home_directory_name/%AC%
Specifies the UNIX source folder to copy the skeleton files from.
Specifies whether or not to delete the local and/or remote Home Directory and its contents while deleting an account.
