View Default Roles

CA Identity Manager includes a set of default roles that you can use with no change. However, you can customize to suit your business requirements.

To view the list of default roles, perform the following actions:

• Run the Roles default report

  This report displays the following information for each role in the report database:

  • Tasks that are associated with the role
  • Member policies and role members
  • Administrator policies and role administrators
  • Owner policies and role owners

  Note: For more information about reporting, see Reports.

• Search for roles

  As a System Manager, go to Roles and Tasks, Admin Roles, View Admin Roles. Search for all roles in the system by entering the wildcard character (*) in the search filter.
